Memorandum of understanding between VEC and Taiwan’s Chan Chao International aimed at developing large-scale international exhibitions in Vietnam.
Vietnam Exposition Center (VEC) is expanding its network of strategic partners across the meetings and exhibition value chain, signing a fresh round of agreements with regional exhibition organisers, venue operators and a digital media company as it seeks to strengthen its position as an emerging hub for international business events.
On 1 July 2026, VEC entered separate agreements with South Korean convention and exhibition operator COEX, Taiwan-based exhibition organiser Chan Chao International, Vietnam Exhibition Advertisement & Services (VEAS/Minh Vi) and digital media company VCCorp.
Among the first confirmed events under the new collaborations are Automation World Vietnam (9-11 September), VietBaby Fair & VietEdu Fai (15-18 October) with COEX, alongside Hanoi Print Pack, HanoiPlas and Intelligent Asia Hanoi by Chan Chao International.
VEAS will also expand its portfolio at the venue with PetFair Vietnam and eight co-located industry exhibitions.
Meanwhile, VCCorp will play a role in developing digital communications solutions, promoting events and building platforms that connect VEC with business communities in Vietnam and beyond.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Pham Thi Hien, deputy CEO for sales and marketing at VEC, said: “Today’s signing ceremony not only expands VEC’s partner ecosystem but also creates a stronger platform connecting Vietnamese and international businesses. We believe the combination of world-class infrastructure, event management expertise, and our partners’ extensive networks will deliver exhibitions and events with regional and global impact, helping position Vietnam as a new destination for the international exhibition, events, and trade industry.”
The agreements follow an earlier round of VEC partnerships announced in June with Informa Markets, NC Network, Exporum, Vinexad and the Vietnam Exhibition & Convention Association (VECA).
VEC’s partnership approach is part of its ambition to build a comprehensive exhibition and events ecosystem, guided by the vision of “Strategic Partnerships – Setting Standards – Leading the Future”.
For the venue, which opened last year as Southeast Asia's largest exhibition complex, the growing partner ecosystem is meant to accelerate event acquisition and strengthen Vietnam's appeal as a destination for regional and international exhibitions.
Spanning more than 90ha, VEC has positioned itself as a cornerstone of Vietnam's ambitions to attract more international exhibitions and conventions.
