The country has launched various targeted sales events and initiatives this year, stepping up efforts court business events from China, Korea and Australia.

The conference will see international speakers taking to the stage, including leadership coach and speaker Jonathan Low of Global Success Learning Academy Sdn Bhd, director and consultant David Fotheringham and training consultant Mark Stanley of team building activities company Asia Ability.

Sustainability will also feature highly on the agenda, with greater focus on event practices that reduce the use of plastic and non-recyclables. MyCEB will be launching a new campaign #mbeNOWASTAGE, which will encourage delegates to bring their own water bottles through the day.

Last year, the fourth edition of MBEW held at Genting Highlands drew 175 participants comprising delegates from the industry, association, academician, government and media partners.
