The show will be held at the Bangkok Convention Centre at Centara Grand, CentralWorld.
More than 10,000 global tech experts and startups from 30 countries are expected to fly to Bangkok for one of Southeast Asia's largest technology conference happening this weekend, adding strength to the region's technology ecosystem.
Held at the Centara Grand & Bangkok Convention Centre at CentralWorld from June 22 to 23, the Techsauce Global Summit 2018 will see an array of multinational tech startups, international investors, corporations and industry experts in attendance.
This year's edition follows the summit's launch as a global conference last year, which drew over 5,000 attendees. The show has grown since its inaugural edition in 2012 that attracted a turnout of 2,000.
Chief executive officer and co-founder Oranuch Lerdsuwankij said: "Technology and startups are playing a key role in ways of doing business. Big corporates across the globe in many industries have tremendously changed their business practices by setting up accelerator programs and venture capital arms to foster strategic investment, making direct investments themselves and also investing in funds that support startups.
"The vital factor helping to grow the number of CVCs is that the companies and startups' respective strengths and weaknesses help to fulfil each other, which creates massive business opportunities," Lerdsuwankij said.
The show venue is part of the CentralWorld complex, a multi-purpose space in Bangkok's city centre that includes convention and meetings spaces for mega- to small-scale events and the 505-room Centara Grand at CentralWorld Hotel. The venue is also within walking distance to the interconnected CentralWorld shopping mall.
