Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) has launched a bonded warehouse facility, becoming the first city-centre convention and exhibition venue in Bangkok to offer customs-controlled storage for goods imported temporarily for international exhibitions and events.

The new service is designed to simplify logistics for organisers and exhibitors by allowing imported goods to be stored and used for events without requiring import duty guarantees or ATA Carnet documentation, reducing administrative requirements and customs procedures.

Bonded warehouses operate under customs supervision and are commonly used to facilitate the temporary import of exhibition materials, equipment and products destined for trade shows and international events.

QSNCC said the facility forms part of a broader effort to strengthen the venue's support infrastructure for international exhibitions and improve operational efficiency for organisers staging events in Thailand.

To manage the facility, QSNCC has appointed APT Showfreight (Thailand), part of the APT Showfreight & Logistics Group, as bonded warehouse operator. The company specialises in exhibition and event logistics and will oversee customs clearance, import and export handling, storage and delivery of goods to exhibition halls.

Surapol Utintu, CEO of QSNCC, said; “The Bonded Warehouse is… an important piece of Thailand's international exhibition and event ecosystem. Today, organisers are looking not only at venue quality but also at the strength of the supporting infrastructure that enables smooth and efficient event operations,” he said.

Several major exhibitions have already indicated plans to utilise the facility, including Asia Sustainable Energy Week 2026, Thai Water 2026, CPHI Southeast Asia 2026, Food & Hospitality Thailand 2026, Bangkok Gems & Jewelry Fair and Jewellery & Gem ASEAN Bangkok 2027.

Located in Bangkok's central business district, QSNCC said the facility complements the venue's broader ecosystem of exhibition halls, meeting spaces, hotels and transport connections, while reinforcing Thailand's efforts to attract international exhibitions and business events.
