Vietnam’s first “resort airline” grows its international network covering Hong Kong, Taipei and Seoul; while Singapore supports its ‘Rise to Asia’.
Sun PhuQuoc Airways will launch direct flights between Singapore and Phu Quoc on 25 July, becoming the first full-service carrier to operate the route as the Vietnamese island ramps up efforts to attract higher-yield international travellers and business events.
The Singapore route will operate daily, with flights departing Singapore at 14:20 and arriving in Phu Quoc at 15:05. Return services depart Phu Quoc at 10:35 and arrive in Singapore at 13:20.
Sun PhuQuoc Airways was launched last year as Vietnam’s first “resort airline”, tied to opportunities to develop the island beyond a leisure destination and strengthen its appeal for MICE ahead of APEC 2027.

While the route is already served by low-cost carriers, Sun PhuQuoc Airways said its launch marks the first time travellers will have access to a full-service option between the two island destinations, including business class cabins, hot meals, checked baggage and in-flight entertainment.
Sun PhuQuoc Airways said Singapore aligns with its long-term “Rise to Asia” growth strategy and broader efforts to strengthen regional connectivity into Phu Quoc.
Meanwhile, the airline’s complementary “Rise to the World” strategy supported by the rapid rollout of three international routes to Taipei, Seoul, and most recently, Hong Kong.
