BARCELONA - Global destination management company Pacific World has introduced new programmes under its sustainability initiative, #bringchangewithME, at IBTM World in Barcelona.

The initiative, which aims to contribute to local destinations' sustainability goals and initiatives through hands-on activities at key destinations, was launched at IMEX America in September.

"Our vision is to raise awareness and work with our customers and partners to contribute to building a sustainable world for future generations" said Selina Sinclair, global managing director of Pacific World.

Pacific World Greece has partnered with carefully selected local communities to reduce IUU fishing practice. In Greece, some 96% of 24,000 fisheries are engaged in coastal fishing.

In Thailand, the Pacific World is putting its efforts to support successful tourism programmes such as the push to promote 55 secondary destinations by the Tourism Authority of Thailand. It has curated immersive experiences to gain perspectives on real social impact activation.
