Westin Hotels & Resorts across Asia-Pacific have launched a number of running trails aimed at helping delegates mix fitness with adventure.

Called ‘WestinWorkout Routes’ and curated by the Westin Run Concierge at each hotel, the initiative is part of Westin’s ‘Move Well’ philosophy. It aims to provide guests with the opportunity to switch up their running routines or discover scenic hiking trails, all while showcasing the local area’s highlights. Developed in partnership with exercise app Strava, guests can access the routes on the go via a mobile application.

In Indonesia, guests can explore Bali’s coastal treasures on a beach run spanning five kilometres, while in India, seasoned hikers can take on a six-kilometre trail immersing themselves in Pune’s culture. More challenging trails include one in Hokkaido in Japan, a five-kilometre route from The Westin Rusutsu Resort which ascends to the mountain summit, a ski slope in winter, with a 330m elevation gain.

Fitness runs in a city-centre location include a jog through the vibrant business and commercial district of West Surabaya in Indonesia and a leisurely run from The Westin Singapore to discover the scenic Marina Bay and Marina Reservoir and the lush greenery of Gardens by the Bay.
