Thailand’s Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) has launched a real-time carbon footprint tracking dashboard for business events.
It is the first convention centre in Thailand to introduce such a tool, which will be piloted at two upcoming events, Asia Sustainable Energy Week 2025 and the International Engineering Expo 2025, both taking place this July.
The dashboard, developed by AltoTech Global Co., is part of the Winnovation program supported by the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB). It is a smart digital platform that uses real-time data to calculate greenhouse gas emissions from various sources, such as energy usage, food consumption, packaging and participant travel. This enables event organisers and attendees to clearly understand the environmental impact of their activities – instantly and transparently. The insights can then be used to plan effective carbon reduction or offset strategies.

QSNCC said it plans to include the tracking dashboard as a special benefit in its Loyalty Programme, allowing members to redeem points for access to the service. It says this will be another way to promote eco-conscious event planning and elevate Thailand’s MICE industry.
