Takanawa Gateway Convention Center, one of Tokyo's largest multi-purpose venues, is set to be available for use on 1 July 2025. Located within Takanawa Gateway City – launching in late March 2025 – and directly accessible from Takanawa Gateway station, the venue has begun accepting reservations on 1 July 2024.

A key feature of Takanawa Gateway Convention Center is the pillarless 1,640 sqm LINKPILLAR Hall, which can accommodate 2,000 people. The multipurpose hall also has a ceiling height of seven metres, and can be divided into two or three sections, allowing a variety of large-scale exhibitions and events to be organised. The hall also comes with its own dedicated loading dock for event logistics.

Beyond the convention hall, the centre also offers other meeting rooms and spaces that organisers can utilise, alongside advanced technological offerings that enable seamless real-time audiovisual transference.

From a sustainability standpoint, the convention centre has pledged to implement measures that support best practices, such as through the introduction of East Japan’s first in-building biogas generation equipment to turn leftover food into power.

Takanawa Gateway Convention Center is located in the basement and on the 6th floor of THE LINKPILLAR 1 SOUTH, which has certified by LEED for Building Design and Construction.
