The Capitol Kempinski Hotel Singapore has expanded its event capabilities with Capitol Theatre, an iconic performing arts landmark in Singapore since 1930, now under its management.
To enhance its suitability for various event types, Capitol Theatre received audiovisual upgrades, and features a region-first rotating floor that makes its tiered theatre convertible into a flat-floor event space. It interiors were also refreshed in 1Q 2025, blending its historic charm with modern functionality.

Accommodating 865 guests in theatre style, 300 for banquets, and 400 for receptions, Capitol Theatre joins the hotel’s existing event space offerings, which include The Atelier, a room for up to 225 guests in a theatre-style arrangement or 120 guests in a banquet style.

Upcoming events at Capitol Kempinski include the Oracle Red Bull Racing x PATRÓN Tequila Afterparty following the Singapore Grand Prix qualifying session on 4 October 2025.
The revamped theatre and luxury hotel form part of Capitol Singapore, an integrated lifestyle development complex that also features a retail mall and Eden Residences Capitol in Singapore's civic and cultural district, with sheltered access to the City Hall MRT station via an underpass.
