Former Eastin Lakeside Hotel has made way or a vibrant community space.
Bangkok Land, the sole operator of integrated convention facility IMPACT Muang Thong Thani, has transformed the former Eastin Lakeside Hotel into a community-focused space known as The Lake Club.
Located by the lake within the Muang Thong Thani complex, the revamped venue is designed to serve both locals and visitors while supporting the continued growth of Nonthaburi and the wider Bangkok metropolitan area.
Serving as a “business laboratory” for IMPACT, The Lake Club provides a platform to test business concepts in a real-world environment.
“By fostering innovation and encouraging collaboration, The Lake Club allows creative ideas to evolve organically before being introduced to larger venues within the IMPACT ecosystem, reinforcing its role as a catalyst for growth and future-ready developments,” Impact said in a statement.
Current elements include:
Culinova Lab: A testing ground for new menu concepts, including nachos and pasta, before scaling to larger markets.
The Collective: A space with a curated showcase of creative brands and local artists.
Niche cafés & bars: Featuring concepts such as Beans Coffee Roaster, Oven Mitt Bagel, and craft beer offerings from Sahaprachachuen.
Looking ahead, The Lake Club will expand its programming to include vintage markets and pet-friendly events.
Guests enjoy a mix of restaurants, bars, and social spaces in a relaxed, open-air setting; while upper levels serve as exhibition halls and an art gallery.
On top of stimulating the local economy, the concept also expands on the mixed-use strategy, where convention centre facilities are situated within an integrated offering.
“This architectural landmark was originally developed by my grandfather, Mongkol Kanjanapas, and my uncle, Kiri Kanjanapas, to serve business travellers and international visitors attending events at IMPACT,” shared Paul Kanjanapas, CEO of Bangkok Land.
