Beyond live entertainment, Grange House will also cater to other event types through its range of indoor and outdoor spaces.
Live Nation has announced that its new purpose-built live entertainment venue in Orchard Road will be called Grange House and is expected to open by mid-2027.
The 3,000-capacity venue is intended to host concerts, cultural events and community programming, positioning itself between Singapore’s smaller performance spaces and large-scale arenas or stadiums.
Located in the Somerset area, Grange House has been developed with support from the Singapore Tourism Board and in collaboration with Lendlease Global Commercial REIT.
Live Nation said the venue will be available to all promoters and event organisers.
The venue is designed by Blueprint Studio, Live Nation’s in-house design and development team. According to the company, it will feature enhanced acoustics and sightlines, hospitality areas, food and beverage options, and artist facilities that meet international touring standards.
Grange House will also include indoor and outdoor public spaces such as a landscaped terrace, an all-day café and restaurant, and areas that can host talks, podcasts, exhibitions and pop-ups.
A walkway linking the 313@Somerset retail mall and the venue is also expected to feature rotating arts and cultural programming.
Edward Liu, managing director of Live Nation Singapore, commented: “Singapore has been an important market for Live Nation since launching in 2006. During that time, we’ve invested in our local team, built strong partnerships and brought an incredible range of artists and live experiences to fans here. We continue to see enormous potential for live entertainment in Singapore, and Grange House is the next step in that journey.”
Stephanie Bax, president of venue development for Live Nation Asia, said: “Open to all promoters and event organisers, the ambition is for Grange House to feel like a home for live entertainment in Singapore, with public spaces designed to be part of the life of Orchard Road beyond show nights.”
The Singapore Tourism Board described the project as part of broader efforts to rejuvenate Orchard Road by adding events infrastructure and cultural experiences to the retail precinct.
Grange House is expected to contribute to Orchard Road’s mix of retail, dining, entertainment and cultural offerings when it opens.
