8,000-seat convention venue coming to Benguluru

This Indian city is building a mega exhibition centre, along with a luxury hotel and dining options.

Bangalore Airport City Limited (BACL) has partnered with property developer Prestige Group to establish an 8,000-seat convention and exhibition centre within its premises.

Alongside the convention centre, the integrated development will also feature a performing arts theatre, a luxury hotel from the St Regis brand, office space and a curated food and beverage and global dining experience. The centre aims to host global summits, large-scale trade expos and cultural showcases and help position Bangalore as a destination for global events.

Rao Munukutla, executive director and CEO of BACL, said: “This partnership with Prestige Group underscores our commitment to creating world-class social infrastructure that not only supports the region's economic agenda but also elevates India's stature in the global MICE landscape.”

BACL is a wholly owned subsidiary of Bangalore International Airport Limited. Prestige Group’s other projects have included Conrad Bengaluru and Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield Hotel & Convention Centre.
