Venue listing platform Venuerific has enhanced its inventory with a new category of meeting rooms now available for direct B2B bookings.
Founded in Singapore in 2013, the platform was initially created to help restaurants gain visibility with event bookers in the face of high rental and manpower costs.
From restaurant venue listings, the platform has since expanded to include hotels, sporting and MICE establishments, co-working spaces, unique venues, and more across Asia. Venuerific also acquired wedding venue marketplace Wedever in 2018.
Now, meeting rooms are also listed for direct B2B bookings. Currently, Venuerific’s inventory includes 47 meeting rooms in Singapore across locations such as WeWork, JustCo and The Exchange, and 18 in Malaysia at WORQ, Arcc Spaces, Emspaced and WSpace, to name a few.
This allows planners to book meeting rooms directly via the platform, without the need for lengthy manual follow-ups with venue providers. Venuerific also gives planners visibility into pricing, capacity, photos and amenities, with spaces bookable in hourly or full-day blocks.
Online direct bookings represent a departure from traditional sourcing and booking processes, which can involve making multiple enquiries and lengthy price negotiations, often accompanied by uncertainty around availability.
“With just a few clicks, business professionals can check availability, select the right meeting room for their needs and confirm their booking – with less back-and-forth with the meeting room provider,” Venuerific said in a statement.
