Pico Art International has partnered with Accenture to launch the Pico Innovation Centre, a dedicated living testbed zone for clients to experience the future of AI-powered events for MICE.

The Centre is setting its sights on tier-1 global exhibitions, large international conferences, enterprise roadshows and government events. It will bring technology partners, brands and event stakeholders together to explore AI applications that make business events more engaging, personalised and measurable.

Accenture’s journey with Pico has spanned some 18 months, during which the two organisations partnered with the National Library Board to roll out two exhibitions in Singapore: the SG60 Heart&Soul Experience that reached more than one million attendees, and The Albatross File: Singapore's Independence Declassified exhibition. The project served as a proof of concept for how technology can transform public engagement.

Among the solutions showcasing the new Centre’s capabilities is Pico Play’s partnership with PlayMAXX Attractions. Pico Play designs and builds physical attractions, while PlayMAXX adds a digital gaming layer, enabling visitors to engage with experiences through interactive gameplay, challenges and rewards. The technology could potentially be adapted for virtual gamification experiences in events and museums, creating more immersive and interactive visitor experiences.

The Centre will also take robot technology beyond attendee assistance – into stand construction. Lionel, an AI-powered robotic assistant for exhibition stand construction, automates one of the more labour-intensive stages of exhibition setup by precisely marking out the floor to indicate where walls, booths, structures and other elements are to be installed.

Other innovations include the newly launched Audio Concierge, which supports multiple languages as well as Singlish and local dialects.

Speaking at the launch of the Centre on 29 July 2026, Jean Chia, group CEO, Pico, said: “Singapore's ambition to become the world's leading MICE destination will depend not only on world-class venues and infrastructure, but also on our ability to create smarter, data-informed experiences that deliver greater value for clients. Through the Pico Innovation Centre and our collaboration with Accenture, we are investing in technologies that will help organisations rethink how business events are designed, delivered and measured, while supporting the continued growth of Singapore's MICE ecosystem.”

The partnership started on 26 May 2026 and will run for two years unless either party ends it earlier. It aims to build a stronger joint offering for both businesses, create innovative AI-enabled exhibition and event experiences, showcase them in a phygital innovation space, and jointly market them. This will include developing and testing new AI solutions across the event journey, from planning and visitor engagement to post-event analytics.

Mark Tham, country MD, Singapore, Accenture, said: “Business events are evolving from one-off engagements into data-driven platforms for customer engagement and business growth. Accenture's strengths in Al, enterprise technology and data will help Pico deliver world-class event experiences and help clients unlock new ways to enhance audience engagement, gain deeper insights and maximise the value of their events. Together, we look forward to contributing to Singapore's leadership as a global MICE destination.”
