Another new robot is set to elevate the uniqueness of events. KEENON Robotics, a leading global robotic service provider since 2010, has unveiled its next-generation food serving robot, the DINERBOT T10, in Japan. It offers multi-modal interaction experience through voice, touch and vision and has head accessories for customisation.

Following the successful launch of DINERBOT T9 Pro and T3 earlier this year, DINERBOT T10 marks the company's third innovation in 2023.

The latter features an open-design large-capacity tray which incorporates plate detection for meal retrieval, enhanced motion control performance, and an elevated chassis. This design ensures stable liquid delivery and allows “effortless navigation” through narrow passages, with a minimum clearance of 59 cm.

One of its unique features is its advanced sensor fusion technology which adapts to complex lighting conditions and multi-layer distance detection, significantly enhancing accuracy and algorithm design.

The upgraded environmental perception and obstacle avoidance system uses four stereo cameras for 300° 3D detection, and two lidar sensors for 360° 2D detection, for delivery safety.

Customisation for events

The robot also has a 23.8-inch screen for advertisements, supporting custom image and video playback, using a cloud-based advertising operating system for user-friendly message communication.

The versatility extends to its flexible movable head, which allows for unique facial expressions and a multi-modal design that incorporates voice, touch, and vision capabilities. Customisation options are available, including various head accessories to suit event needs. KEENON offers a comprehensive one-stop repair and maintenance program.
