MEET TAIWAN has brought innovation to the forefront with the use of holographic projection tools at events.

Together with the Taiwan Tourism Bureau at a recent business event, MEET TAIWAN, in collaboration with the EXPO-TECH Program and the Industrial Technology Research Institute, set up a holographic projection booth at an exhibition.

Using holographic projection technology, Robert Yang, director of Trade Development Division, International Trade Administration, Ministry of Economic Affairs (TITA) recorded a speech video.

By observing the video from different positions and angles, viewers could see the subject from various perspectives. It was as if Yang was actually present at the scene.

Yang took the opportunity in his speech to announce that Taiwan was honoured this year with the M&C Asia Stella Awards for "Best Exhibition Destination in Asia" and "Best Convention and Exhibition Bureau," which reflects Taiwan's competitiveness in the exhibition industry.

He extended a warm welcome with open arms to business professionals from around the world to come to Taiwan for organising and participating in exhibition events.

MEET TAIWAN will lead a delegation to participate in the Taiwan Expo Japan from 7-12 November 2023.
