Hotel distribution and representation company HotelREZ Hotels & Resorts, has announced a partnership with Cvent, to use the meetings management firm's transient sourcing platform to reach travel buyers more effectively.

Under the agreement, HotelREZ will tap on Cvent Transient (formerly Lanyon), which allows HotelREZ members to set and promote corporate hotel rates and manage request-for-proposals (RFPs) across its more than 2,500 properties in 100 countries worldwide.

To do that, an automated process helps hotels and venues to use and publish data to GDSs and OTA websites, which Cvent claims to eliminate 50% of time off the RFP process.

The platform also offers insights into key metrics such as acceptance, decline, and rejection rates, as well as other data points to help compare performance against the competition.

According to Cvent UK VP of international sales Graham Pope, HotelREZ will be one of the first Cvent partners to experience the new corporate RFP user experience, which will be unveiled later this year.
