Hong Kong will host four major technology fairs this April, bringing together more than 3,700 exhibitors from 28 countries and regions as part of its peak exhibition season.
The four fairs are open to industry, investors, trade buyers and users from various sectors, including SMEs, for sourcing and networking opportunities, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) said in a statement.
The spring tech line-up includes InnoEX, the Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Spring Edition) (EFSE), the Smart Lighting Expo (SLE) and the Hong Kong International Lighting Fair (Spring Edition), all held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
InnoEX and the electronics fair will run from 13 to 16 April, focusing on innovation and technology applications, including artificial intelligence, robotics and smart city solutions. The lighting fairs will follow from 20 to 23 April, spotlighting smart and sustainable lighting technologies.
A key highlight this year is the debut of “RoboPark”, a robotics-focused zone spanning InnoEX and the electronics fair, featuring more than 100 robots across commercial, industrial and consumer use cases. Exhibitors include major robotics players from mainland China and overseas, alongside Hong Kong start-ups.
Jointly organised by the Innovation, Technology and Industry Bureau (ITIB) of the HKSAR Government and HKTDC, InnoEX will also feature participation from more than 20 countries and regions, with strong representation from mainland China across multiple provincial and city pavilions, as well as global technology firms and research institutions.
Across the fairs, artificial intelligence (AI) is a central theme, with dedicated showcases on AI applications in public services, mobility, infrastructure and consumer experiences. The electronics fair will highlight AI-driven products across smart home, health tech and connected devices, while its startup zone will feature over 60 early-stage companies.
The twin lighting fairs will gather around 900 exhibitors, with a focus on smart, energy-efficient solutions. A new “Light Lab” will present immersive, scenario-based displays of lighting applications, while additional zones will cover commercial display systems and audio-visual technologies.
Jenny Koo, deputy executive director of the HKTDC, said that both InnoEx and EFSE are aligned with the National 15th Five-Year Plan, and support the Innovation & Technology (I&T) policy outlined in the government’s latest Budget.
“Together with the LFSE and the SLE, these events present advanced technologies and cutting-edge products. They foster business networking and cross-sector collaboration, to continuously leverage Hong Kong’s unique advantage as a platform for ‘bringing in’ and ‘going global’.”
More than fairs in month of tech and innovation
InnoEX, EFSE, and SLE will form part of Hong Kong’s broader Business of Innovation and Technology Week. Driven by ITIB and HKTDC, the more-than-a-week-long programme includes conferences, forums and summits aimed at strengthening the city’s position as a regional hub for innovation and technology.
Apart from the four exhibitions, events running as part of the Business of Innovation and Technology Week include the Hong Kong World Youth Science Conference, Web3 Festival 2026 and the International Academicians Hong Kong Forum, which will focus on AI in ageing and education. The World Internet Conference Asia-Pacific Summit will also run alongside the fairs on 13–14 April.
