The Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) recently launched the new MICE Intelligence & Resource Centre, accessible to suppliers and organisers via TCEB's website.

"The MICE Intelligence & Resource Centre reflects Thailand's move forward to provide MICE operators with actionable and insightful information they can use to devise concrete business plans," explained Jaruwan Suwannasat, director of the TCEB M2I Department. "TCEB has adopted MICE Intelligence and Data Analytics to respond to the changes taking place in the MICE industry, and with the MICE Intelligence & Resource Centre the bureau will be working closely with operators to elevate the MICE sector in a sustainable and evenly distributed manner."

The MICE Intelligence & Resource Centre also reflects the role TCEB has taken on as a thought leader under its new "Thailand Redefine Your Business Events" branding, in which the bureau seeks to drive change and new ideas for the industry, according to Suwannasat. As for the target audience, the MICE Intelligence & Resource Centre is there to support everyone from entrepreneurs and businessmen to students and the general public. The initiative is part of a six-part strategy under Thailand's three-year MICE Intelligence & Innovation Strategic Plan (2019-2021).

Through the MICE Intelligence & Resource Centre, MICE professionals will gain access to the latest insights and trends in Thailand's 10 S-curve industries (such as future automotive, smart device, health tourism, biotechnology, food processing, robotics, aviation and logistics, etc), TCEB's very-own e-library platform with its growing number of publications, as well as event management and planning software. Furthermore, there are tools to test event organisers' management readiness, financial performance, as well as ROI.
