To explore some of these opportunities, Facebook hosted the APAC Hotels Summit on June 20, 2018, for hotels and hospitality partners across Asia Pacific. The goal was to help these industry players future-proof their marketing strategies and to engage with Asian consumers in a more effective way.
During the full-day event, global travel and marketing experts shared the latest travel trends, as well as insights on how hotels have been marketing their establishments and services in the increasing mobile world. Some key takeaways include how brands need to build their presence in a multi-channel environment, how they need to think outside the box on mobile platforms, as well as examining what customer satisfaction and loyalty mean in today's travel industry. This helped hoteliers to reassess their marketing efforts and make plans to keep pace with industry changes.
