With the rolling restart of the MICE industry and resumption of
in-person events, industry players who have been focusing on upgrading
skillsets and refining their strategies for the future will have an
advantage.
Those who have not may want to consider the upcoming Certified in
Exhibition Management Course issued by the International Association of
Exhibitions & Events (IAEE). The course is suitable for
professionals with at least three years’ experience and who are looking
to strengthen their exhibition management knowledge and attain global
certification.
It will equip events professionals with concepts such as conference
and meeting management principles, event marketing and operations, floor
plan development and facility and site selection and security, risk and
crisis management. By the end of the course, participants will gain
practical know-hows through real-world case studies.
The course will be conducted by Chandran Nair, a veteran with more
than 40 years’ experience in the exhibitions and conventions industry.
He previously headed venue management/operations, exhibitions management
and corporate affairs at Constellar Group Pte Ltd.
Registration is now open for the course scheduled from 25-27 May
2022. The full-course fee for SACEOS members is $3,388 and $4,288 for
non-members.
