The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) has named a new leadership team for leadership positions in its five Regional Chapters worldwide. The elected industry leaders will begin their three-year mandate after the 93rd UFI Global Congress in November 2026.
For its Asia-Pacific Chapter, Hong Kong’s Rita Chu of Adsale Exhibition Services has been elected as chair.
The region’s three vice-chairs are: Joon How Loy of IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Centre in Thailand (as first vice-chair) alongside Helen Mantellato of ICC Sydney in Australia and Gordon Payne of Hyve China Events Service in Beijing.
Alongside the Asia-Pacific appointments, UFI also confirmed new leadership across its other regional chapters. Stefan Rummel of Messe München GmbH was elected chair for Europe, Joyce Leveston of Javits Center for North America, Fernando Gorbarán of Messe Frankfurt Argentina for Central & South America, and Mohammed Al Hussaini of Riyadh Exhibitions Company for the Middle East & Africa.
