Tourism Australia brings in new regional general manager

Jennifer Doig will focus on driving trade and consumer marketing activity in India, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore.

Tourism Australia has appointed Jennifer Doig as the new regional general manager for South and Southeast Asia, bringing two decades of marketing experience in the Asia region to the role.

Based in Singapore, she will be reporting to Andrew Hogg, Tourism Australia’s executive general manager for Eastern markets & aviation.

“We are delighted to be welcoming Jennifer Doig to our business at a critical time as we continue to rebuild tourism to Australia back to 2019 levels in our key markets across South and Southeast Asia,” Hogg said.

Doig’s role will centre on driving trade and consumer marketing activity with the teams in Tourism Australia’s key markets in the region including India, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore.

“I look forward to leveraging my experience in tourism and media to help boost visitation from the strategically important markets of South and Southeast Asia.” Doig shared.

Doig was most recently working for Dubai Tourism as director of global campaigns, and prior to that her previous roles include working for global and international brands including Sony Pictures Entertainment, Turner Broadcasting, Ogilvy and Edelman.
