Loy Joon How has over 40 years of exhibition industry experience, including 18 years in Thailand with IMPACT and recent service as TEA Vice President.
Thailand Exhibition Association (TEA) has announced the appointment of Loy Joon How, General Manager of IMPACT Exhibition Management Co., Ltd, as its new president, effective June 2025.
Loy succeeds Panittha Buri of Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Center.
TEA was founded in 1997 and comprises members across Thailand’s MICE sector, including organisers, venue operators, service providers and freight forwarders, primarily based in Bangkok and other key cities.
Loy brings over 40 years of experience in the exhibition industry, including 18 years in Thailand with IMPACT. Over the past two years, he has served as Vice President on TEA’s Executive Committee, representing the association’s interests internationally and promoting industry best practices on the global stage.
In his new role, Loy will focus on economic development through new business opportunities, event creation, networking initiatives and international marketing. He will also be advocating policies aimed at upgrading the exhibition industry.
According to the association, Loy will lead efforts to promote the adoption of technology and innovation through education, training, resource sharing and industry-wide best practices. He will also prioritise sustainable practices.
This includes “championing the introduction of eco-friendly exhibitions and best green practices to offset the industry’s carbon footprints and reduce waste to protect the environment and betterment of society and country.”
