Duangdej Yuaikwarmdee has been appointed CEO of VNU Asia Pacific, the regional arm of Dutch B2B trade show and conference organiser, effective 28 May 2026.
Duangdej is well known within Southeast Asia’s exhibitions and business events industry, most recently serving as director of the exhibitions department at Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), where he played a key role in Thailand’s exhibition development and international industry engagement efforts.
His appointment marks a notable transition from the public-sector destination development side of the MICE industry into one of the region’s major private exhibition organisers.
Prior to joining TCEB, Duangdej spent more than 14 years with Reed Tradex, where he held senior leadership roles including deputy managing director and chief sales officer.
In announcing the appointment, VNU Asia Pacific said Duangdej brings “deep industry expertise, strategic vision, and extensive regional networks” to the role.
No formal statement regarding his departure from TCEB has been publicly issued at press time.
