Hilton Singapore Orchard has appointed Rupert Hallam as GM. Hallam brings with him over three decades of hospitality experience, of which 21 years were spent with Hilton. Prior to his current role, Hallam served as the GM of Hilton Adelaide for close to five years, and earlier as the VP of Sales for Hilton Asia Pacific from 2015 to 2019 when he was based in Singapore.

Succeeding his predecessor Cedric Nubul, who steered the opening of Hilton’s largest hotel in APAC for two years since its pre-opening, Hallam will lead a team of over 490 team members. He said: "We are entering a new chapter in the tourism industry at this exciting and crucial time, and I believe we’re only getting started with exemplifying the best of the Hilton brand at Hilton Singapore Orchard."

Hallam will oversee day-to-day operations of the hotel’s 1,080 rooms and suites, five F&B concepts, and its MICE facilities of over 2,400 sqm with the support of hotel manager, Linda Reddy.
