Alvin Wee is now group director of business development and international MICE at Royal Cliff Hotels Group and Pattaya Exhibition and Convention Hall (PEACH).
Royal Cliff Hotels Group and Pattaya Exhibition and Convention Hall (PEACH) have announced the appointment of Alvin Wee as group director of business development and international MICE.
Based in Thailand, Wee brings extensive experience in global partnerships, strategic growth, and international MICE business development. In his new role, he will lead Royal Cliff and PEACH’s efforts to attract major international events, strengthen key account acquisition, and position the venues as top-tier destinations for business events in Asia.
A seasoned MICE strategist, Alvin has held senior roles at major exhibition and convention centres, including as International MICE Sales Manager and Assistant Business Development Director. He has successfully driven major world congress wins and played a pivotal role in post-pandemic business recovery for in-person events.
Wee is certified in Exhibition Management (CEM) and is a Certified Incentive Specialist (CIS). He is also a frequent speaker at global industry events such as UFI VMS, ICCA Congress, and TCEB forums, where he is known for sharing insights on venue safety, sustainability, and strategic recovery.
