Kumar has been Marriott International’s Area GM – Bali (Premium & Select Properties).
Marriott International has appointed Arun Kumar as GM of The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali and Bali International Convention Centre.
Kumar has been Area GM – Bali (Premium & Select Properties), overseeing 21 Marriott International Premium and Select hotels and resorts across the island.
At The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali, he will lead the 432-room resort and the adjoining Bali International Convention Centre in Nusa Dua.
Prior to his Bali tenure, Kumar was market VP – North India, Nepal and Bhutan, where he led performance and strategic growth for 60 Marriott International hotels across the region.
He has more than 30 years of hospitality leadership experience across Asia, the Caribbean and theUS.
His previous roles in Indonesia include GMof The Westin Jakarta and Managing Director of The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Mega Kuningan and JW Marriott Jakarta. His experience spans luxury hotel operations, resort management, convention centre operations, hotel openings, renovations and multi-property leadership.
