Brett Burton has been appointed area general manager of Banyan Tree Lăng Cô and Angsana Lăng Cô, two beachfront properties located within the Laguna Lăng Cô integrated resort in Central Vietnam.
In his new role, Burton will be responsible for the management of 62 private pool villas of Banyan Tree Lăng Cô and the 229-key Angsana Lăng Cô, which are under the management of the Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts.
Prior to his appointment, Burton was area general manager and general manager of Vinpearl Danang, Hoi An and Nha Trang. He has held senior positions with Mandarin Oriental and Hyatt International.
His experience in the hospitality industry spans over 20 years across the globe, covering different departments including operations, marketing, commercial innovation, guest satisfaction, project management and brand development.
Laguna Lăng Cô is the first and largest integrated resort in Vietnam. The 280-hectare community, which marks the first project in Vietnam for Banyan Tree Group, resides near Lăng Cô Bay and is framed by a three-kilometre beach overlooking the East Sea.
