MyCEB makes key appointments

Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) has appointed Premala Danapakiam to the role of senior manager, business events and promoted Tuty Elyanie Medali to the position of assistant manager, event support.

Danapakiam will be focussed on assisting with the planning and development of the business events team's strategic sales and marketing plan, encompassing the areas of sales, association development, corporate meeting and incentive, exhibition and event support. She will report directly to Ho Yoke Ping, general manager, business events of MyCEB.

In her new role, Medali will be responsible for the entire spectrum of the event support team within the business events division and will report directly to Danapakiam.

Prior to joining MyCEB, Danapakiam worked as director of sales and marketing at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching. She also managed significant business events including the International Congress and Convention Association - ICCA Congress 2016 and has also served as senior sales manager for Four Points by Sheraton Kuching.

Medali joined MyCEB in 2010 and is one of the pioneers since its inception in 2009.
