Rosewood Hotels & Resorts has named Michael Parker as managing director of its first China resort, Rosewood Sanya, which will open in early 2017. Parker has taken on several senior hotel manager positions in Mainland China and the U.K., such as managing director at Banyan Tree Shanghai on the Bund, and was previously with Wanda Hotels, Guoman Hotels and The Grosvenor Hotel in London.
