IAEE establishes its 2025 China Council

Newly-formed China Council to replace IAEE Asia Council.

The International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) has unveiled its China Council, appointing Jessica Jia as director of operations for the China Office.

The IAEE has a representative office in Shanghai and The China Council’s role is to assist the IAEE in establishing working partnerships with key exhibition organisations in China. This includes facilitating the sharing of information, promoting the global exhibition industry and enhancing effective communication. The newly-formed IAEE China Council will replace the IAEE Asia Council.

Jia has nine years of experience at IAEE and a background in international business, with a track record of establishing deep cooperation with government officials and local associations. Prior to joining the IAEE, Jia worked in the international business department of the National Convention Center where she planned and executed several high-profile overseas promotional activities, alongside leading multiple international market research projects, offering strategic advice to local organisations bidding for international conferences.
