Hilton has named Jerry Huang as president of development in Greater China and Mongolia. He oversees the team responsible for the overall development strategy for China.
Huang brings with him more than 30 years' experience in the hotel industry, including a 25-year stint at InterContinental Hotels Group, where he led the development and operations teams before becoming president of Greater China.
He was most recently president, Greater China of Artyzen Hotels Group.
Huang also wears multiple hats, including a former position as vice chairman of China Tourism Hotel Association, and as member of the China National Tourism Administration Platinum Five-Star Grading Committee.
Huang will be based in Hilton's China regional office in Shanghai and will report to Matt Fry, senior vice president, development for Asia Pacific. He replaces Francis Lee who will be leaving Hilton to pursue opportunities in the investment and private equity industries.
