Greg Gubiani heads Crowne Plaza Changi Airport

The seasoned hotelier takes helm of IHG’s iconic airport hotel in Singapore.

IHG has appointed Greg Gubiani as the new general manager of the 575-room Crowne Plaza Changi Airport.

A seasoned hotelier veteran with 25 years of global hospitality experience, spanning the Maldives, Polynesia and New Caledonia to Australia and Southeast Asia, Gubiani was a veteran at Marriott International where he managed brands including Westin, Le Méridien and Aloft.

He was mostly recently general manager at The Westin Kuala Lumpur and has served as chairman of the Marriott Malaysia Business Council since 2019, representing and supporting Marriott hotels in Malaysia.

In his new role, Gubiani expressed his excitement to be at the helm of an “iconic hotel in Singapore that has consistently been voted by travellers as the World’s Best Airport Hotel for nine years running”.
