Four Seasons Hotel Singapore has appointed Shengwen Chua as the new hotel manager, overseeing all aspects of hotel operations and play a key role in the hotel’s learning and development programs, mentoring staff, leading courses, and planning the hotel’s annual community event, Run for Hope.

With a wealth of experience and a strong background in revenue management, Chua has spent more than two years as director of marketing at Four Seasons Hotel Singapore to enhance the hotel’s marketing strategies and optimised revenue streams.

Starting out as a front desk agent, Chua’s 16-year career in luxury hospitality spans roles across Asia, including Bangkok, Beijing, and Qingdao, before returning to Singapore.

Meng Wen Young, most recently the director of sales and catering, is now associate director of marketing at Four Seasons Hotel Singapore.

In addition, Meng Wen Young steps into the role of associate director of marketing at Four Seasons Hotel Singapore, having been promoted from director of sales and catering. With an impressive track record in driving business and developing strategic partnerships, she will now focus on broadening the hotel’s commercial initiatives and enhancing the brand identity in the market.

Both Chua and Young have assumed their new positions effective 1 October 2024.
