Fairmont Singapore and Swissôtel The Stamford have appointed Marshall
J Orton as the new GM of F&B with effective from 1 September 2023.
With 35 years’ of experience across prestigious hotels and resorts,
Orton brings expertise and a well-rounded skills in luxury hospitality,
hotel management & operations, F&B, and culinary, having made
key contributions in his different capacities as executive chef,
director of F&B, executive assistant manager and most recently, GM
of Fairmont Sirru Fen Fushi in the Maldives.
At Fairmont Singapore and Swissôtel The Stamford, Orton will steer
overall F&B operations, drive strategic direction, and enhance
business performance and guest experience in Raffles City Convention
Centre, and the hotels’ 12 restaurants and bars. These include
two-Michelin starred JAAN by Kirk Westaway, contemporary grill SKAI,
Prego and modern cocktail bar ANTI:DOTE.
