Dual promotions for InterContinental Singapore

Female leaders provide new direction for the luxury heritage hotel.

InterContinental Singapore, a luxury heritage hotel in the heart of Singapore, has promoted Judy Koh to hotel manager and Fai Abdullah to director of sales and marketing, exemplifying the hotel's dedication to fostering a diverse and inclusive leadership team.

Koh has 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, where her journey at IHG began two years ago as the director of sales and marketing. She successfully led her team through the task of re-opening the hotel post-COVID-19 and the resumption of travel into Singapore. Her leadership and business acumen, and robust commitment to excellence have fostered a collaborative and supportive work environment that has empowered her team to succeed. She will work with GM, Andreas Kraemer, to further elevate guest satisfaction and the luxury positioning of the hotel, besides overseeing all operational work.

Fai Abdullah, director of sales and marketing has served as the director of sales in luxury hotels such as Fairmont, Swissotel and Marriott for the past 10 years. Abdullah has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills and commitment to excellence, and a creative approach to sales strategies. In recognition of her outstanding contributions, the hotel's management is pleased to elevate her to this new role. In her new role, she will lead the sales and marketing teams, drive revenue growth, and enhance the hotel's brand presence.
