Etienne Dalançon joins the Malaysia property from Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi.
Hilton has announced the appointment of Etienne Dalançon as general manager of Waldorf Astoria Kuala Lumpur, set to open in late 2026 with 272 suites and over 4,250 sqm of meeting and event space.
Dalançon will spearhead the launch of the property to debut the Waldorf Astoria brand in Malaysia.
He joins Waldorf Astoria Kuala Lumpur following his tenure as general manager of Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi.
Dalançon brings to the role over two decades of luxury hospitality experience in Asia and Europe.
