Torsten Richter has been appointed general manager of Anantara Desaru
Coast Resort & Villas and area general manager of Indonesia and
Malaysia.
In this role, Richter will oversee other Minor properties such as
Anantara Uluwatu Bali Resort, Anantara Ubud Bali Resort, and Avani
Sepang Goldcoast Resort.
Richter most recently served as the multi-property general manager at
The Ritz-Carlton Hotel and Hotel Am Steinplatz Autograph Collection in
Berlin, Germany.
Possessing a track record in managing both resorts and city hotels
across three decades of experience in the hospitality sector, Richter
has held leadership positions in major destinations worldwide, including
Thailand, Indonesia, the Maldives, Germany, the US, and the UK.
