Sanles was most recently GM at Avani+ Riverside Bangkok.
Amari Bangkok has appointed Jose Luis Duran Sanles as general manager of the 354-key property in downtown Bangkok.
Sanles brings more than 15 years of experience in luxury hospitality and has been based in Thailand for over a decade. His career includes senior management roles at luxury resorts in Khon Kaen, Koh Lanta, and Phuket.
This is his second GM role, following his most recent stint at Avani+ Riverside Bangkok, Avani’s flagship property. His previous leadership roles include time at Anantara Siam Bangkok, Shangri-La Bangkok, and Conrad Seoul.
He is also the president of the Spanish-Thai Chamber of Commerce.
