SACEO’s Alaxys Liu
Alaxys Liu has been appointed the new SACEOS executive director with
effect from 2 January 2024. Liu is a veteran association professional
with a strong passion for creating impactful initiatives that enable
dynamic exchanges and foster industry transformation. Her extensive
experience spans across local and international associations. This has
given her invaluable exposure to working with various government
agencies, trade bodies, and businesses.
Before joining SACEOS, Alaxys served on the internationalisation
chapter of the Singapore Business Federation, where she oversaw the
implementation of national-level initiatives, programmes, and services
benefiting Singapore companies as they ventured into markets such as
China, Korea, and Japan.
She will continue the good work of SACEOS in advocating for the
industry, delivering business networking opportunities, educating the
MICE workforce, and driving sustainability.
Liu said: "I am honoured to be given this opportunity to be part of
the leading MICE association that champions the interest of a key
strategic industry of Singapore. I look forward to working with the
Executive Committee and Secretariat team to strengthen the value that
SACEOS brings to our members, and partnering with key industry partners
to shape a forward-thinking and future-ready industry. Most importantly,
I look forward to working with the industry, getting to know our MICE
community better and adding concrete value to SACEOS."
