Experia Events, the organiser behind the Singapore Airshow, has announced the launch of the Business Aviation Asia Forum and Expo (BAAFEx), the first international exhibition in Asia Pacific dedicated to the business aviation industry. The biennial event will debut from 4 – 6 March 2025 at the Changi Exhibition Centre.

The rise of business aviation in the Asia Pacific region, particularly in Southeast Asia, has created demand for a dedicated industry event. Research from Asian Sky Group indicates that, as of the end of 2023, the region's fleet of business jets stood at around 1,200, making it the third-largest global market after North America and Europe.

BAAFEx will feature an exhibition and industry forum, attracting participants from across the business and general aviation sectors. Confirmed exhibitors include TAG Aviation, MedAire, Viasat, and the Bermuda Civil Aviation Authority.

Leck Chet Lam, managing director of Experia Events, remarked: "We are thrilled to launch BAAFEx, an event that will not only showcase the latest advancements in business aviation and general aviation, but also provide a platform for industry leaders to collaborate and drive the future of general aviation and business aviation."

The Asian Business Aviation Association (AsBAA) will co-organise the Business Aviation Forum. Jenny Lau, chairwoman of AsBAA, expressed support: "It has been some time since we've had an event focused specifically on business and general aviation, making this occasion particularly significant."

The forum will provide a space for industry leaders to discuss trends and challenges, as well as opportunities for networking and collaboration.
