Nestled among the pine forests of Vietnam's Central Highlands, Grand Mercure Dalat Resort has opened its doors, bringing French colonial-inspired architecture, landscaped gardens and a collection of indoor and outdoor event venues to Dalay.
Located a short walk from the historic Dalat Railway Station and the city's former French Quarter, the resort draws on the city's colonial heritage through 12 villa-style buildings arranged around open courtyards. The property features 131 rooms and suites, ranging from Superior Rooms to a Presidential Suite, with interiors inspired by the Impressionist works of Claude Monet and views across gardens and pine trees.
For meetings and celebrations, the resort offers a portfolio of venues suited to conferences, corporate retreats, weddings and incentive programmes.
Grand affairs
The resort's largest venue, Le Soleil Ballroom is inspired by the “romantic tales, charm of muses, and grandeur of 1920s French high society”. It accommodates up to 270 delegates in theatre style or 230 guests for banquets. High ceilings, French colonial detailing and modern audiovisual technology create a flexible setting for conferences, gala dinners and large-scale celebrations. The ballroom is equipped with projection facilities, integrated sound and lighting systems, and supports a range of layouts including classroom, boardroom, U-shape and cocktail receptions.
For smaller meetings and functions, La Belle Ballroom offers a more intimate setting for up to 80 guests for cocktails, 75 in classroom configuration or 63 theatre-style. Inspired by the elegance of 1920s French salons, the venue combines period-inspired interiors with adaptable layouts suited to executive meetings, workshops and private dinners.
For executive meetings, an additional private dining room, Tony & Jane, provides an exclusive venue for up to 20 guests.
Outdoor venues
The resort also makes the most of Dalat's cool climate through several landscaped outdoor venues.
Lavender Garden is the largest alfresco space, hosting up to 260 guests in theatre style, 220 for banquets or 220 for cocktail receptions, making it suitable for corporate dinners, product launches and destination weddings.
For more intimate gatherings, La Fontaine Garden accommodates up to 120 guests, while the Poolside venue caters for receptions and private events of up to 120 guests, surrounded by rose gardens and rolling hills.

Beyond meetings, delegates can unwind at La Maison Wellness Spa, or choose from five dining venues showcasing local produce alongside French and Asian cuisine.
