Radisson Collection Hotel, Hi-Tech Zone Chengdu opens within the Business & Innovation Centre for China-Europe Cooperation.
Radisson Hotel Group has expanded its presence in China with the opening of Radisson Collection Hotel, Hi-Tech Zone Chengdu, the brand's first property in southwest China.
Located within the Cloud Yunduan Tower at the Business & Innovation Centre for China-Europe Cooperation (CCEC), the 178-room hotel is positioned to serve international business travellers and delegates visiting one of western China's key centres for technology, innovation and China-Europe collaboration. The CCEC is a national-level platform supporting economic cooperation and international exchanges between China and Europe.
Occupying floors 31 to 46 of the tower, the hotel is directly connected to Tianfu 5th Street Metro Station and within walking distance of Tianfu Software Park, placing it in the heart of Chengdu's high-tech district.
For meetings and events, the hotel offers nearly 800sqm of function space across two ballrooms and two meeting rooms.
The largest, the 322sqm Silk Road Ballroom, accommodates up to 230 delegates in theatre style, 180 for banquets or 126 in classroom configuration.
The 280sqm Expedition Ballroom seats up to 150 delegates theatre-style, 120 for banquets or 90 in classroom layout.
Both venues are equipped with LED display systems and professional audiovisual technology for conferences, forums and gala events.
Complementing the ballrooms are the 112sqm Solis Meeting Room, which accommodates up to 60 delegates theatre-style, and the 20sqm Aurora Meeting Room, designed for executive meetings of up to 16 participants.
Meeting spaces located on the hotel's upper floors offer panoramic views of Chengdu's skyline and the Jinjiang River for board meetings and smaller business gatherings.
The hotel also features a range of dining venues suitable for business entertaining, including Jin Chinese Restaurant serving Sichuan and Cantonese cuisine, the Vela Lounge for informal meetings and private events, and the Ethereal Lobby Lounge.
Leisure facilities include an indoor heated swimming pool, spa and fitness centre.
