Avani Hotels & Resorts has launched Avani+ Lanexang Vientiane Hotel, with a range of MICE venues, guestrooms and facilities set to open in phases.
Located on Fa Ngum Road overlooking Chao Anouvong Park and the Mekong River, the 197-room hotel is Avani's second property in Laos, following Avani+ Luang Prabang.
Meetings and events are a key focus of the property. According to the hotel’s website, the 595sqm Lanexang Ballroom can accommodate up to 1,000 delegates theatre-style or 500 for banquets.
Planners may also book the outdoor lawn venue, which the hotel says is an uncommon feature in the city centre. The open-air space can host receptions for 200 guests in cocktail configuration.
For meetings and workshops, the hotel offers four meeting rooms and two boardrooms.
Guest accommodation ranges from Deluxe Rooms to a Presidential Suite, with interiors designed to support both business and leisure stays.
Dining venues will also open in stages. All-day restaurant Mekong Mosaic is the first to launch, serving international and Lao cuisine, while Mediterranean-inspired tapas venue Sabaidee Social, café and co-working space The Pantry, and Thai-Lao restaurant Salongxay will follow later this year.
The outdoor swimming pool and fitness centre are ready in the first phase of opening, with AvaniSpa and additional wellness experiences set to follow.
