Fairmont Bangkok Sukhumvit has opened with 2,000sqm of flexible event space across three floors, strengthening the Thai capital’s inventory for meetings, conferences and corporate events.
The property, developed by Fairmont Hotels & Resorts in partnership with Asset World Corp (AWC), marks the luxury hotel brand’s debut in Thailand.
Its event facilities are anchored by the Signature Grand Ballroom, which has a 12m-high ceiling and dedicated arrival forecourt. A second ballroom, seven breakout rooms, Couture Hall and other adaptable meeting spaces cater for executive summits, international conferences, product launches, gala dinners, weddings and private events.
The hotel offers 416 guestrooms and 58 suites in the Sukhumvit neighbourhood. Designed by Thai architecture and interior design practice PIA, the property draws on Thailand’s botanical heritage, with floral motifs incorporated throughout its rooms and public spaces.
Seven dining and entertainment venues are being introduced in phases through 2026. The opening line-up includes North American-French brasserie Harper’s, AELA Social Bar and Thai dining venue CAYA Pool Club. Wiggle Room, an entertainment and supper-club concept, is scheduled to open in mid-September, followed by two rooftop restaurants in December.
Additional facilities include Fairmont Spa, yoga and fitness spaces, a kids club and pet-friendly amenities. The hotel also offers Fairmont Gold, featuring a dedicated reception, private lounge and concierge service.
Fairmont Bangkok Sukhumvit has been designed to LEED Gold standards, incorporating water recycling, smart energy systems, enhanced indoor air quality, electric-vehicle charging and a heat-reduction facade.
