The Indian debut of Marriott’s Autograph Collection has a combined capacity for more than 10,000 guests.
Marriott has debuted its first Indian Autograph Collection Hotels property with the opening of Noormahal, Delhi NCR Karnal, Autograph Collection, a 176-room “collectors’ palace” positioned along the historic Grand Trunk Road in Haryana.
But beyond the domes, arches and royal theatrics, the real talking point for the meetings and weddings market may be the sheer scale of its event offering: more than 27,800sqm of function and outdoor venue space spread across palace-like halls and sprawling lawns.
The largest venue, Rani Ka Bagh, spans roughly 13,935sqm and can accommodate between 3,520 and 4,920 guests depending on setup. Raja Ka Bagh adds another 6,040sqm of lawn space for up to 2,280 guests.
Inside, the palace continues the maximalist approach. Darbar Hall stretches across approximately 2,323sqm with capacity for up to 1,000 guests theatre-style, while the ornate Sheesh Mahal offers about 1,394sqm for between 525 and 650 attendees.
Other spaces include Jal Mahal at around 1,672sqm for up to 650 guests, Deewan-e-aam at 581sqm for up to 260 guests, and the more intimate Deewan-e-khaas and Rang Mahal, both measuring about 465sqm. A smaller ballroom rounds out the inventory at roughly 149sqm for private gatherings.
According to Marriott, the property houses one of the region’s largest collections of art and artefacts, while its design draws from Mughal, Rajput, Punjabi and Persian influences.
The property’s Autograph Moment is inspired by the elegance of royal courts. Guests are styled in royal drapes and photographed in a vintage aesthetic that echoes classic regal portraiture.
Recreational programming also includes pickleball, ziplining and rock climbing.
Located on NH44 between Delhi and Chandigarh, the hotel positions itself as both a leisure stopover and a destination venue for corporate gatherings and large-scale celebrations.
