Mandarin Oriental is returning to Manila with the Mandarin Oriental Makati, Manila, offering an upscale choice for events and accommodation in the city centre when it opens in late 2026.

Rising above Ayala Triangle Gardens, a two-hectare park at the intersection of Makati Avenue, Ayala Avenue and Paseo de Roxas, the 98.7m-tall hotel marks the return of Mandarin Oriental to the city.

From 1976 to 2014, the original Mandarin Oriental Manila served as a key luxury address for influential public figures travelling to the Philippine capital.

Now reimagined for a new generation of global travellers and business leaders, Mandarin Oriental Makati, Manila will feature 275 rooms and suites, a 800 sqm spa and wellness floor, five dining and bar concepts, as well as a collection of versatile event spaces.

The centrepiece is the Grand Hall, spanning 740 sqm with an 8m-high ceiling height and capacity for up to 1,000 guests. It is divisible into three halls and complemented by The Gallery pre-function space. A further selection of flexible function rooms, meeting rooms and a boardroom are available too.

Developed in partnership with Ayala Land, the hotel is located a 15-minute-drive from the Manila’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport. It occupies a prestigious address within Makati, Metro Manila’s cosmopolitan financial and lifestyle district, steps away from the Greenbelt’s luxury retail and dining establishments.

Entry-level Deluxe Rooms begin at a generous 50sqm, featuring panoramic city and park views, walk-in wardrobes, and separate bath and shower areas.

For families and groups travelling together, the hotel offers connecting room options as well as dedicated Family Deluxe Rooms and Suites, each with expansive living spaces, vanity desks and generous bathrooms designed for extended comfort.

Guests choosing Club accommodations enjoy access to the Mandarin Oriental Club Lounge alongside 24-hour dedicated butler service.
