Le Méridien Saigon has unveiled an upgraded ballroom designed to simplify the production of conferences, product launches, corporate dinners and other mid-sized events.
The pillar-free venue spans 360sqm and accommodates up to 324 delegates theatre-style, 300 for receptions or 250 for banquets. It can also be divided into two 180sqm spaces, each seating up to 198 theatre-style.
At the centre of the upgrade is a 12-metre LED display comprising 10 movable panels, allowing planners to configure the screen for different staging and presentation requirements.
The production set-up also includes ceiling-mounted speakers and subwoofers providing 360-degree sound coverage, alongside 28 moving beam lights and 28 LED PAR fixtures. By keeping the audiovisual and lighting systems on site, the hotel aims to reduce the external equipment sourcing and installation required for events.
The ballroom is supported by a 350sqm pre-function area accommodating up to 150 guests and five smaller meeting rooms ranging from 37.5sqm to 67.5sqm. All event spaces are located on a dedicated meetings floor.
The 344-room hotel occupies a riverfront location in central Ho Chi Minh City, overlooking the Saigon River and Ba Son Bridge. It is approximately 7km from Tan Son Nhat International Airport.
Le Méridien Saigon, which introduced the brand to Vietnam in 2015, is set to be joined by the 432-room Le Méridien Phu Quoc in 2027. The planned resort forms part of an 88.4-hectare mixed-use development being prepared for APEC 2027 and is among 10 properties covered by Marriott International’s expanded partnership with Sun Group.
