Le Méridien Saigon has opened an upgraded ballroom with built-in audiovisual and lighting systems.

The hotel said the refreshed venue combines a 12-metre LED display, 360-degree sound and an adaptive lighting system, with technical equipment available on site for event organisers.

The main visual system is a 12-metre LED display made up of 10 movable panels that can be reconfigured for different event formats.

Upgrades to the audio system includes ceiling speakers and subwoofers for 360-degree sound coverage.

Meanwhile, the lighting setup now includes 28 moving beam lights and 28 LED PAR fixtures.

The hotel said the integrated setup is intended to reduce equipment sourcing and installation requirements for organisers using the venue.

Lars Kerfin, GM of Le Méridien Saigon, commented the upgrade was intended to reduce the operational complexity of staging events while offering planners more flexible production options.

The 344-key Le Méridien Saigon is located in central Ho Chi Minh City, about 7 km from Tan Son Nhat International Airport.
